Situated at the beginning of Lamb’s Head road. They cater for riders of all levels from beginners to the more experienced. Enjoy one of their woodland, beach and mountain treks.


Salmon / trout fishing

Lough Currane is a world famous lake for salmon and trout fishing. Our next door neighbour, Vincent Applebe, will be your guide from his twenty years of experience.


Deep sea divinG

Deep sea diving centre catering for the beginner or the experienced diver are available close by.



Derrynane sea sports offers a lot of activities with courses, lessons and equipment hire : sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, canoeing …


Parknasilla, a most picturesque 12 hole course is within 30 minutes drive. The world famous Waterville championship 18 hole course is within 15 minutes.

Derrynane house and National Park

The ancestral home of the great liberator Daniel O’Connel, its 120 hectares of parkland and     1.5 km of coastline are within 2 km of our home.

Skelling Islands

Described as the high point of their holiday by most visitors. Daily boats trips to the islands

Staigue ForT

Accessed via the “ Kerry Way” and located at 3 miles from here, this magnificent and well preserved fort is dated from as far back as 700 BC.
